Elk Hair Caddis

One of the most reliable dry flies on any trout water. Ferris ties this one with elk hair wing and dubbed body — it sits high in the film and moves right, exactly what you want during a caddis hatch. Brown trout, brook trout, and rainbow trout all eat this fly when the hatch is on. Fish it on rivers and streams from spring through fall.
